Glen Stone is a quartzite stone quarry based in Killybegs, Co. Donegal. It supplies crushed stone, aggregates and readymix concrete to the building trade and civil construction and marine-related projects. Glen Stone supplied 500,000 tonnes of stone for the Killybegs Port expansion project in 2004.

Glen Stone came under new management in March 2002 and has embarked on a continuous investment and training programme to cater for the ever demanding and stringent requirements of the construction industry. At the end of 2003 the new European Standard, EN 206-1, was introduced at Glen Stone under the quality management system ISO 9001:2000.

Glen Stone will embark on an a major plant modernisation programme and the installation of a new block manufacturing plant in the near future. All progress will be instantly documented in our News & Events Section.
